ADAMANTIO srl is a company founded in 2005 by Marco Nicola, a chemist born in a three generation family of restorers, since 2007 director and sole partner. ADAMANTIO is an academic spin-off of the Turin  University; it is set in the Incubator of the Università di Torino and cooperates in many research project with University, CNR and other organizations. ADAMANTIO deals mainly with scientific investigation and researches for the conservation, the study and the valorization of object of artistic, architectural and historical interest; ADAMANTIO  have been hold by appointment of several institutions like museums and “Soprintendenze” (the institutions in charge of the artistic heritage in Italy), and also of restorers, antiquity dealers and collectors. In 2008 ADAMANTIO is founder partner of  Polo Tecnologico Beni Culturali Fossanova (Technological Pole for Cultural Heritage Fossanova) that is set in Priverno (LT) – Lazio.

Marco Nicola performed investigation and research campaigns especially concerning material characterization, dating, authentication, 3D survey, damage assessment, elaboration and evaluation of restoration treatments and conservation advice. These activities imply the use of new technologies developed in the field of chemistry, physics and biology and applied on monuments, archaeological buildings, paintings, modern art, documents, stuccoes, stone, wooden material, terracottas, mosaics, enamels, metals and anthropologic findings.
Among the main works performed on public charge it’s worth pointing out the physico-chemical studies in Rome (San Pietro’s colonnade, Villa Medici, Emperor Trajan’s Villa Imperiale in Arcinazzo Romano)
Turin (Cathedral Dome, Villa della Regina, palazzo Carignano, teatro Carignano), and on some paintings own in Florence (Galleria degli Uffizi, fondazione Longhi), Naples (Palazzo Reale, Pio Monte della Misericordia), Turin (Galleria Sabauda, Museo Civico di Palazzo Madama), Milan (Pinacoteca di Brera)
Vercelli (Museo Borgogna). Among archeological findings let’s point out the work-in-progress on the Throne of The Villa dei Papiri (Ercolano) and on some egyptological and anthropological findings own by the  Museo della Città di Narni (Terni), the Museo Archeologico "Scarabelli" di Imola (Bologna), the Jamahiriya Museum (Tripoli - Libya) and on fragments of frescoes from the archeological excavation of the city of Napata (Karima - Sudan).
