It is the first time that the concept of marketplace has been applied to the cultural heritage sector, a new way of networking the business, finance, research and institutional world. Ms President can you briefly give us the reasons that has brought Assorestauro to sign this five year partnership with DNA.italia.
It is under everyone’s eye the difficult moment that the cultural heritage sector is going through, especially from a business point. In this context it’s very stimolous the innovative and exciting approach that DNA.italia has compare to what the national panorama of promotion and communication offers. Innovate to overcome the crisis is a challenge that we must face together and this is why the partnership prosal between Assorestauro and DNA.italia must represent a time of integration and synthesis. In this case, the novelty of DNA.italia is not a weakness but a strength to write new rules and new ways to communicate to businesses. Communication events must be more than a traditional window, but the networking of companies and increase business opportunities. Assorestauro has so strongly supported this partnership, just to provide its members a new and better service.
The association will be very active in organizing the event, which includes a series of initiatives throughout the year, while the waiting for the exhibiton itself. What are the priorities for Assorestauro, in terms of programs to develop?
Territoriality must represent the guideline. The sector of cultural heritage is by nature a chain of companies ranging from diagnostics to communication, with different requirements that need to be fulfilled in subject-oriented meetings. To our common cultural heritage should be given further help in enhancing the realities of different regions, especially small and hidden, which may have difficulty communicating their expertise in the traditional fairs.
DNA.italia, among the new proposals, will focus on the presence of technology start-ups that offer something new to the market. In this project, what role will the association have?
A good number of associated companies is represented by a strong technological component. All of them are driven by innovation and by the contribution that technology can provide to protection and enhancement of our artistic heritage, and so also on this field Assorestauro and DNA.italia have a common language.
Finally, DNA.italia is the only event that offers a future vision, broad and diverse, for the cultural heritage sector, an opportunity that can rise synergies, which considers the cultural heritage as viaticum able to enhance a large link to cultural industries. Which is the message Assorestauro wants to convey at DNA.italia?
Innovate, integrate, internationalize, network and make the system overcome the crisis to ensure that Italian companies strengthen their role of excellence within the conservation world.
