INNOVATION FOR PUBLIC PROCUREMENT CONTRACTS THE PRISME PROJECT
will ease SMEs’ access to public procurement contracts The project, made operational through
the Chamber of Commerce of Turin,
aims at bridging the gap between
innovative SMEs and contracting institutions.
How? Innovation and public procurement contracts of products and services represent the cornerstone
of an activity based on three specific actions:
SMEs
will be individually diagnosed so to identify their partecipation in public procurement contracts and offered custom solutions
contracting institutions will be able to rely on specific workshops providing them with more detailed information regarding innovative
SMEs and a newsletter will also be created
to ease the latters’ access to public procurement contracts,
providing contracting institutions with guidance on how to
think “SME” and innovative when drafting their tenders
therefore contributing to reducing the distance between the two
transnational face-to-face meetings
will be arranged so to encourage the approach
between innovative SMEs and contracting institutions,
giving the latter the possibility
to express their needs and the former the opportunity
to showcase their innovative products/services.
PRISME, Procurement of Innovation from SMEs, will be active till August 2012; on the occasion of DNA.italia, through this project, SMEs will have to opportunity to meet interested contracting institutions, willing to discover the new technologies available and the most innovative solutions on the market.
